The CCC symposium, Computing and Healthcare: New Opportunities and Directions, was held in partnership with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) this year, and brought together researchers in medicine, health informatics, human-computer interaction, social and behavioral science, public health and computer science. The agenda focused on themes surrounding four key topics: data in abundance, collaborative care systems, patient engagement, and population-scale health systems.
