JAMIA.gif   Our paper on medication-tracking tools for the inpatient setting now appears in JAMIA and will be included in the Special Issue on Interactive Systems for Patient-Centered Care to Enhance Patient Engagement.

Prior studies of computing applications supporting patients' medication knowledge and self- management offer valuable insights into effective application design, but do not address inpatient settings. In this paper, we report on the first study exploring the design and usefulness of patient-facing tools supporting inpatient medication management and tracking.
